Sales Director – Oracle Communications Applications

Oracle Communications offers a comprehensive portfolio of AI-enabled, cloud-based applications-available as standalone solutions or as part of our Digital Business Experience and Unified Operations suites. These solutions provide end-to-end capabilities across Order-to-Cash, Unified Assurance, Inventory, and Orchestration for B2B, B2C, and B2X services, helping customers modernize and transform their front- and back-office operations.

Your Role

As a Sales Director, you will lead a team of experienced sales professionals focused on positioning Oracle Communications solutions in the marketplace. You will bring energy, strategic thinking, and leadership to help your team drive customer success and business growth.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and coach a high-performing sales team
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to navigate complex sales cycles
  • Build and maintain executive-level customer relationships
  • Drive pipeline growth, forecasting accuracy, and business results
  • Inspire and develop talent while fostering a collaborative, team-selling culture

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and empower your sales team to achieve business objectives
  • Prioritize resources and opportunities to maximize business impact
  • Champion the “Why Oracle” story and articulate the value of Oracle’s unified, multi-pillar solutions
  • Build trusted client relationships and strengthen customer engagement with the Oracle brand
  • Create and execute strategic sales and business development initiatives
  • Drive pipeline generation and accelerate revenue growth
  • Remove obstacles and support your team’s success throughout the sales cycle
  • Establish relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets
  • Travel approximately 25–50% as needed to support customer engagements and team activities

Requirements

  • Results-oriented, resourceful, and highly motivated
  • An experienced sales leader with a proven record of success selling complex enterprise solutions
  • Skilled at executive and C-level engagement
  • Collaborative and effective in a team-selling environment
  • Creative, strategic, and committed to continuous learning and development

Preferred Background & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated sales leadership, initiative, collaboration, and sound business judgment
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven success managing enterprise sales teams and selling into large, complex accounts
  • Experience engaging with C-level executives and navigating sophisticated buying environments
  • Strong ability to qualify opportunities, solve customer challenges, and deliver positive business outcomes

We Offer

  • Competitive salary range from $122,200 to $270,800 per annum
  • Eligible for equity and compensation deferral
  • Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 45/55
