Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager – Automation Technology (m/f/d)
We are looking for a networker and business developer who can drive sustainable growth for HDAO Controls-not in the sense of selling standard products, but someone who can successfully position our expertise in plant automation with existing and new customers.

Responsibilities
- Active Customer Acquisition in the Machinery, Plant, and Special-Purpose Machinery Manufacturing Sectors
- Building a sustainable network of decision-makers and project managers
- Identifying Opportunities for Automation and Modernization at Customer Sites
- Supporting customer projects from the initial inquiry through to order placement
- Active Key Account Management
- Support in establishing strategic partnerships and subcontracting relationships to expand our service portfolio
- Collaboration with Technical Support to Prepare a Quote
- Building a personal connection with customers-even in person
- Market Monitoring and Competitive Analysis
Requirements
- Several years of experience in technical sales of automation and control solutions
- Ideally, professional experience with a systems integrator, automation service provider, or switchgear manufacturer
- Existing network of decision-makers in industry, mechanical engineering, and plant engineering
- Strong knowledge in the following areas:
- Hardware Planning
- Control Panel Construction
- PLC Programming / Commissioning
- Robotics
- Electrical Installation
- Experience in acquiring and developing new customers
- Technical understanding of complex automation projects
- Confidence at every level-with quick decision-making processes from the project manager all the way up to senior management
