Sales Manager (m/w/d)

About the Position

SAUTER METALL is seeking an experienced and dedicated Sales Manager (m/w/d) to join our sales team in Breisach, Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, acquiring new customers, and maintaining existing customer relationships. Your contributions will significantly strengthen our market position and sustainably increase our sales.

Responsibilities

• Acquisition of new customers in the field and maintenance of existing customer relationships
• Handling offers, including follow-ups
• Independent order processing for stock and route business
• Handling general administrative tasks
• Conducting sales presentations and negotiations with customers
• Identifying new market potentials and developing corresponding sales approaches
• Collaborating with marketing for the planning and implementation of sales promotion measures
• Participation in trade fairs, events, and industry meetings for networking
• Preparation of reports, analyses, and forecasts for management

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of business administration
• Conducting sales conversations
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of products and their application possibilities for customers
• Proficiency in using ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX / 365, for recording and analysis
• Sales experience, preferably in an industrial environment
• Strong skills in MS Office, especially Excel, for report and analysis creation
• Entrepreneurial thinking and action
• Reliability and confident demeanor
• Good English skills
