Salesforce Commerce Cloud Full-Stack Developer

About the Position

Matrix Eastern Europe, the offshore division of Matrix IT, one of the leading global R&D services companies with more than 11,000 professionals, is looking for a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Full-Stack Developer to join one of our teams.

Our client operates a growing Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) ecommerce platform built on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). The platform is developed in collaboration with an external agency and supported internally by a Digital Product Manager and a Commerce Implementor & QA Specialist.

We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer to become a core in-house technical contributor, responsible for delivering end-to-end ecommerce features and strengthening internal ownership of the platform. This role brings together strong frontend execution with solid backend and integration capabilities, ensuring features are delivered cohesively from user experience through data processing and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end ecommerce features on SFCC (frontend to backend)
• Build responsive, accessible, and high-quality storefront interfaces
• Implement backend logic, APIs, and integrations within SFCC
• Ensure clean data flow from user interactions to backend processing
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and external agencies
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Improve code quality, performance, and platform maintainability
• Support QA activities through bug fixing and technical clarification

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer in ecommerce environments
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
• Strong frontend skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Backend development and API integration experience
• Understanding of core ecommerce flows (PDP, PLP, Cart, Checkout)
• Experience working with external agencies
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team setup
• Familiarity with Agile workflows and Jira
• Knowledge of performance optimization and accessibility best practices
• Experience maintaining and improving existing SFCC codebases
