About the Position

As a Salesforce Data Governance Analyst at Renesas JP, you'll be a key player on a team dedicated to continuous improvement and enhancement of our Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Salesforce's architecture and capabilities, with the ability to align technical solutions with our evolving business goals. This role requires collaboration across departments to gather requirements and translate them into scalable user-friendly solutions. Excellent communication skills are essential, you should be comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels and explaining complex technical concepts in a clear, relatable way.

In addition to configuration and support responsibilities, you'll help shape our Salesforce governance and change management practices to ensure a stable and effective platform.

Responsibilities

  • User and License Management: Including new user setup/deactivation, Roles, Profiles, Permissions, Public Groups, Organization-Wide Defaults, & Sharing rules.
  • Salesforce Configuration Changes: Including Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports.
  • Data Governance, Change Management, & Data Policies: Perform ongoing data cleansing, deduplication, and normalization within Salesforce (Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Tasks, etc).
  • Data Audits and Recommendations: Conduct regular data audits and recommend improvements to the overall structures and data model.
  • Requirements Gathering and Solution Translation: Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience.
  • User Adoption Monitoring and Training: Monitor user adoption and drive improvements through training, enablement, and platform enhancements.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain Salesforce technical documentation.
  • Platform Feature Management: Identify unused or underutilized platform features, connected apps, and apex.
  • Integrated Applications: Work with integrated applications including Ringlead, NetSuite, DocuSign, Boomi, and more.

Requirements

  • Salesforce Revenue Cloud Knowledge: Understands Salesforce Revenue Cloud functionality and relationships.
  • Flow Design: Strong background designing Flows.
  • Salesforce Product Knowledge: Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 3-5 years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience with Sales or Service Cloud.
  • Salesforce Revenue Cloud Administration: Strong Salesforce Revenue Cloud knowledge and at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience administering CPQ.
  • Salesforce Automation Tools: Strong knowledge of Salesforce automation tools, including Flow.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Governance and Change Management: Familiarity with Salesforce governance and change management best practices.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Administrator Certification required; additional certifications (e.g., Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, CPQ Specialist) are a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree.

  • Competitive Salary: The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
