About the Position
Amazon Web Services (“AWS”) has been the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. This team is diverse, it builds and supports products, applications for AWS sellers, manages large scale infrastructure of 1P and 3P platforms.
The AFX (AWS Field Experience) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team, is looking for a passionate, innovative, committed, results-oriented Salesforce Developer to design, architect and build solutions, bringing industry best practices/standards, defining metrics, solving complex business problems for our field team to manage, maintain and operate at scale.
The person will be working on the latest Salesforce technologies; you will also have the opportunity to work with AWS Services to innovate in the space of Customer Relationship Management (CRM). You’ll be chartered with building applications that deliver critical capabilities to the field and embed operational knowledge and encode best practices into everything we do. In addition, as part of the broader AWS Sales and Marketing organization, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the broader cloud strategy for AWS and potentially future AWS products.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design and build scalable, flexible, and integrated solutions for our Sales and operations teams in partnership with other technology partners/teams/leaders within/external the Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) organization.
- Provide solutions for our CRM and native AWS tools/applications to automate, optimize, quote to cash transactional workflows, improving operational efficiency.
- Simplify and reinvent systems, processes, and tools to improve seller and customer experiences.
- Define technical initiatives to drive cost optimization across various CRM, and AWS environments.
- Bring thought leadership to manage availability, latency and performance of our mission critical tools, services.
Requirements
- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust.
- Experience with Linux/Unix.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.
- Bachelor's degree.
Nice to Have
- Experience with distributed systems at scale.
