As SAP Basis & BTP Technical Architect / Product Owner, you will shape the future of our SAP landscape by driving its architecture, strategy, and technical roadmap across on-premises and cloud environments. You will lead SAP BTP and integration platform initiatives, collaborate with SAP Cloud Services and external partners, and ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing SAP platforms that support business growth, innovation, and the successful transition to S/4HANA and cloud solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own the SAP technical architecture, standards, governance, and roadmap across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Act as Product Owner for SAP Basis, SAP BTP, integration platforms, and SAP user administration, managing vision, priorities, service lifecycle, and continuous improvement.
- Lead SAP BTP architecture and governance, including connectivity, security, identity management, observability, and cost optimization.
- Own the integration landscape, including SAP Integration Suite, APIs, middleware, messaging, monitoring, and interface governance.
- Coordinate SAP Basis services delivered by SAP Cloud Services, external providers, and internal teams, ensuring service quality and operational excellence.
- Govern SAP platform operations, including upgrades, maintenance, transports, monitoring, performance, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.
- Ensure platform security, compliance, identity and access management, data protection, and audit readiness.
- Provide technical leadership for S/4HANA programs, cloud migrations, system transformations, and architecture reviews.
- Drive automation, standardization, technical debt reduction, service improvements, and effective collaboration with business, infrastructure, security, and external partners.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in SAP Basis, SAP platform engineering, or SAP technical architecture within complex enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP BTP, cloud platforms, system architecture, security, performance, and lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, APIs, identity and access management, and cloud governance.
- Proven track record in leading SAP transformations, cloud migrations, upgrades, and architecture initiatives.
- Experience working with SAP Cloud Services, managed service providers, and cross-functional technology teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- University degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant SAP certifications are a plus.
- A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills as well as passion for innovation, automation, and continuous improvement.
