SAP BASIS Consultant

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled SAP BASIS Consultant to manage SAP Basis activities, including installation, upgrade, and migration, with expertise in SAP HANA, Linux Virtualization, and Oracle RAC.

Responsibilities

• Management of SAP Basis activities, SAP Installation, SAP Upgrade, SAP Migration, Solution Manager, SAP HANA implementation in an SAP ERP, HANA, BW, BOBJ, PI/PO, Portal, Fiori, HANA Cloud Platform, etc.
• Emphasis in configuration, analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Extensive experience with Linux Virtualization, and Oracle RAC, as well as Solution Manager required. Experience with performance tuning, support/enhancement packs and patches and design SAP Architecture and Landscape.
• Install and Configure SAP Router.
• SAP System and Client Management.
• Configure Transport Management System.
• Setup SAP User and Authorization.
• Design and Setup SAP Backup and Recovery.
• Monitor, Analyze, and Maintain Administration and System Performance Tuning.
• Provided Technical support, analysis, and solved system problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Higher in IT, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in performing a role as a Technical Consultant at least three end-to-end projects (Migration, Upgrades, Implementations).
• Require Functional/Technical proficiency with at least 5 years SAP Basis consulting experience, with min 4-7 Full Cycle Project Implementation experience in a consulting environment.
• Experience in SAP Basis on multiple SAP Environments (Linux, Unix, Windows).
• Implementation experience of SAP applications (S/4HANA, ECC, PO, BW, CRM, SRM, BOBJ, etc.).
• Experience in SAP landscape strategy, providing SAP System maintenance, Client strategy, SAP Code migrations on schedule basis, Transport Management Systems, change management, workflow.
• Analysis and technical recommendation and application of OSS Notes.
• Day to day maintain SAP batch job schedule, monitoring, and interfaces jobs.
• Experience in SAP Disaster Recovery system testing and procedures.
• Proficient in the administration and maintenance of multiple SAP systems and expertise in system landscape design.
• Very Strong SAP Basis skills including installation, upgrade, patching, backup/restore, and Basis troubleshooting (ABAP & J2EE stacks).
• SAP Basis Administration including system refreshes and SAP HANA Administration.
• Familiar with SAP ECC and HANA environments.
• Can document SAP processes, procedures, and plans; including changes, upgrades, and new services.
• Relevant SAP Certification would be a plus.
• Experience in SAP on cloud platforms would be a plus.
• Ability to travel to client sites (local or overseas).
• Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
