SAP BI / Datasphere Consultant B2B

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced SAP BI / Datasphere Consultant to support the implementation and enhancement of reporting and analytics solutions in an SAP-centric landscape. The consultant will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to design, build, and optimize analytical solutions based on SAP Datasphere, SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP S/4HANA.

The role requires a hands-on technical profile capable of independently delivering data models, reporting solutions, and migration activities within modern SAP data and analytics architecture.

Location: Romania (prioritar), UE (secundar)

Contract duration: Between 6 and 9 months (possible extension)

Rate: Up to 45 €/hour

Responsibilities

• Analyze and implement new reporting and analytics requirements.
• Design, develop, and enhance data models in SAP Datasphere and SAP BW environments.
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions and dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Support the migration of existing SAP BW content to SAP Datasphere.
• Adapt and optimize existing analytical data models and reporting solutions.
• Conduct testing, quality assurance, and defect resolution activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
• Ensure technical documentation and knowledge transfer where required.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BW or SAP BW/4HANA.
• Practical experience with SAP Datasphere, including:
  • Data Modeling
  • Views
  • Spaces
  • Data Access Controls (DAC)
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) reporting and story development.
• Experience in implementing and enhancing enterprise reporting solutions.
• Ability to independently translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with testing and quality assurance activities.

Professional Skills

Nice to Have

• Experience migrating SAP BW content to SAP Datasphere.

• Knowledge of analytical CDS Views for data extraction from SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with SAP BW on HANA environments.
• Exposure to hybrid BW / Datasphere architectures.
• Experience in international and distributed project teams.
• Prior experience supporting SAP data transformation or modernization initiatives.
• Experience in reporting and analytics processes in the areas of:
  • Materials Management (MM)
  • Production Planning (PP)
  • Controlling (CO)
  • Finance (FI)
  • Plant Maintenance (PM)
  • Quality Management (QM)
