Responsibilities

• Focus on Software quality, performance, and scalability.
• Build a strong foundation in relational database concepts.
• Contribute innovative new ideas to shape the product.
• Develop test plans, test framework, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform manual and automated testing against on-premise products and cloud services.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and design effective test strategies, reproduce customer issues, and provide root cause analysis.
• Adopt AI technology to improve test efficiency.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related area.
• Commitment of 5 days per week for a 6-month internship on-site.
• Knowledge of software development workflow and CI/CD process.
• Experience in scripting and automation using Python, Shell/Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
• Good written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of relational databases.
• Knowledge of performance and stress testing.
• Experience with AI vibe coding (with Claude code, Cline, GitHub copilot, or similar AI assistant tools) is highly preferred.

HANA Cloud Data Landscape Quality and Infra team engaged end-to-end in the development lifecycle of SAP ASE, Replication Server, and SAP Open Server.
