SAP Commerce Cloud Solution Architect

About the Position

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Commerce Cloud Solution Architect to join our team as a long-term Technology Partner during an active global scaling phase. In this role, you will integrate directly into core product and engineering teams, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to strengthen and expand the digital ecosystem. You will contribute to the evolution of the architecture, support the rollout of new markets, and help scale commerce and customer data infrastructure across the globe, ensuring a stable, scalable, and future-proof foundation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with internal teams working with SAP Commerce Cloud, SmartEdit, and composable storefront solutions
• Participate in the evolution of the platform architecture and contribute to performance improvements
• Ensure a stable and scalable foundation for existing and future markets
• Support the rollout of new markets and cross-market scaling of complex enterprise commerce systems
• Take part in integration and transformation initiatives across the broader SAP ecosystem, including SAP SMC, SAP CDC, and SAP CDP, as well as SAP C4C
• Connect and optimize SAP systems to support customer data management, marketing automation, and business intelligence workflows
• Provide architectural ownership and drive enhancement of existing functionality
• Support current business operations while building a platform for rapid expansion into new regions
• Contribute to the design of a future-proof technical stack aligned with long-term business goals

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software architecture, systems integration, consulting, or solution design, including at least 3 years in a Solution Architect role on complex commerce or digital experience programs
• Expertise in SAP Commerce Cloud
• Proficiency in Java
• Background in designing and scaling composable storefront solutions
• Familiarity with SmartEdit and SAP ecosystem integrations (SAP SMC, SAP CDC, SAP CDP)
• Knowledge of SAP C4C and its role in customer data management and marketing automation workflows
• Understanding of architectural ownership for long-term engagements and multi-market rollouts
• Capability to enhance existing functionality while ensuring platform stability and scalability
• Skills in collaborating with cross-functional product and engineering teams in a global setting
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)
