Responsibilities

Configure SAP Finance modules (e.g., FI-GL, AP, AR, AA) to meet business needs.
Lead or support business workshops using finance and accounting terminology.
Apply knowledge of Japan-specific legal, tax, and reporting requirements in SAP solutions.
Perform data migration for finance-related master and transactional data.
Deliver high-quality project outcomes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Support pre-sales efforts including proposal development and client presentations.
Contribute to internal initiatives such as creating Japan-specific templates and documentation.

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of SAP Finance functional experience.
- For P2DP - Manufacturing & Product costing
- For P2RFA - CAPEX projects, Fixed assets, IFRS 16 Leasing
- For MP2C - Account receivable, revenue recognition, contracting, rebates
- For D2P - Accounts payable, integration with procurement
- For R2A - General Ledger, management accounting, Japan tax rules
Completed at least two end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
Strong understanding of finance business processes and SAP configuration.
Hands-on experience in data migration for finance objects.
Business-level fluency in Japanese (JLPT N2) and English (both written and spoken) is a must.
Familiarity with Japan's local financial regulations and statutory requirements is a plus.
Exposure to working with Japanese clients or in Japan-based projects.
Prior involvement in pre-sales, proposals, or solutioning.
