About the Position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SAP EWM/IM Analyst/Consultant to join our global Center of Excellence (CoE) team that is leading the global S/4HANA project in Global crop protection and solutions provider. As an SME, the candidate will be responsible for the Global Template (GT) in EWM, IM, and EHSM areas. Will design, customize, configure, and perform testing of SAP EWM, IM & EHSM modules, document functional designs, test cases, and results.
This role offers an opportunity to grow into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) role within a global Center of Excellence, hands-on exposure to the latest S/4HANA technologies and innovations. Lead significant processes in a multinational corporation, influencing logistics and safety standards across global sites.

Responsibilities
- Perform detailed analysis of business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions that align with the Global Template (GT).
- Configure the system (Customizing) to meet requirements in EWM & IM areas.
- Identify potential workarounds to system changes or limitations and identify the level of effort required to efficiently implement changes.
- Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements, map requirements, processes, and objectives for new Projects.
- System Controls: Manage and configure system checks and blocks (Safety Blocks) to ensure operational compliance.
- Permit Awareness: Understand the critical business need for managing Site Toxin Permits and their impact on the supply chain.
- Integration: Demonstrate strong understanding of how hazardous material data interacts with other logistics modules (EWM/IM/SD).
- Regulatory Analysis: Ability to understand changing regulatory needs and translate them into system definitions and interface requirements.
- Understand the designed way of working, reduce deviations from Business Process Documents (BPDs), and ensure BPDs are updated with approved changes.
- Work with regional and local teams in the adoption of the globally recommended solution and integration design. Support them with any additional locally driven requirements definition, detailed design, build, and implementation.
- Manage your stream events - change requests & critical incidents and Share knowledge and "know how" with local support.
- Collaborate with multi-functional, DEV, and technical teams to coordinate and implement solutions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on SAP functional experience as an SAP EWM/IM Analyst/Consultant.
- Proven experience configuring SAP EWM & IM modules.
- Proficiency in documenting functional designs, test cases, and results.
- Ability to maintain a holistic view of the end-to-end architecture, amalgamating inputs from both SAP and non-SAP functional teams.
- Deep understanding of core business processes.
- Ability to translate business requirements into detailed configuration and technical specifications using standard SAP tools and best practices.
- Document functional designs, test cases, and results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a global, multi-cultural environment and manage cross-functional collaboration.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Nice to Have
- Preference to experience with S/4HANA.
- Familiarity with EHSM / Dangerous Goods processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Logistics, or a relevant field.
