Responsibilities

As an SAP Functional Payroll Consultant, you will:

Act as the SAP Payroll expert within the organization.
Configure and maintain SAP R3/ECC6 Payroll solutions.
Design and implement system enhancements and custom developments.
Translate business, legal, and regulatory requirements into effective SAP Payroll solutions.
Produce functional and technical specifications for developments and system changes.
Advise stakeholders on SAP Payroll best practices and standard functionalities.
Support SAP Payroll implementation and enhancement projects.
Provide 3rd-line support and resolve complex payroll-related incidents.
Manage payroll-related system changes and ensure successful delivery.
Perform regression testing and validation for legislative and regulatory updates.
Monitor payroll processes and ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Proven experience working with SAP R3/ECC6 Payroll.
Strong experience in SAP Payroll configuration and support.
Previous involvement in payroll implementation, enhancement, or transformation projects.
Experience managing payroll-related legislative and compliance requirements.
Experience supporting business stakeholders and translating requirements into system solutions.
Background in incident resolution and application support environments.
Deep knowledge of SAP HCM Payroll (SAP ECC6/R3).
Strong payroll process expertise.
Experience in SAP configuration and solution design.
Ability to create functional and technical specifications.
Experience with testing, including regression testing for payroll and legal updates.
Understanding of system integration and data flows within HR and Payroll landscapes.
Knowledge of IT service management processes and change management practices.
