About the Position
SAP PP / PM / QM Consultant
As an SAP PP/PM/QM Consultant, you will make an impact by leading the design and optimization of Production Planning (PP) processes, supported by Plant Maintenance (PM) and Quality Management (QM) solutions in manufacturing environments. You will be a valued member of the SAP Delivery team and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver integrated, scalable SAP solutions that improve operational efficiency and production excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead functional design, configuration, and implementation activities with primary focus on SAP S/4HANA PP, and secondary support for PM and QM
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into end-to-end SAP manufacturing solutions
- Configure and optimize PP Batch Management to streamline production processes
- Implement PP Variant Configuration to support complex product structures
- Oversee Shop Floor Execution to ensure seamless integration between production operations and SAP workflows
- Design and manage Production Campaigns to improve resource utilization and meet production targets
- Maintain and govern PP Master Data, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Support PM processes related to plant maintenance integration with production planning
- Support QM processes related to quality inspections, compliance, and manufacturing controls
- Utilize Long-Term Planning and Demand Management to align capacity with business strategy
- Provide functional expertise and troubleshooting support across PP, PM, and QM modules
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-transfer activities
- Ensure documentation, compliance with SAP best practices, and continuous process improvement
Requirements
- 7 to 11 years of SAP functional experience with the following priority:
- Strong expertise in SAP PP (primary)
- Working knowledge of SAP PM (secondary)
- Working knowledge of SAP QM (tertiary)
- Hands-on experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments
- Solid understanding of production planning, execution, and manufacturing processes
- Proven ability to gather requirements and deliver SAP solutions aligned with business objectives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
Nice to Have
- SAP S/4HANA certifications in PP, PM, or QM (PP preferred)
- Domain experience in Industrial Manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of SAP best practices and manufacturing integrations
- Experience supporting S/4HANA transformations or rollout projects
- Familiarity with multi-channel manufacturing or supply environments
Work Model
