About the Position

SAP Sales and Distribution Functional Analyst

Dentsply Sirona is the world’s largest manufacturer of professional dental products and technologies, with a 130-year history of innovation and service to the dental industry and patients worldwide. We are seeking a SAP Sales and Distribution Functional Analyst to join our global team in Gurugram, India or Brazil. This role is responsible for the day-to-day support of SAP S/4 HANA Sales and Distribution and related modules.

Responsibilities

• ERP Sales and Distribution Functional Expert
  • Provide excellent functional support, training, and troubleshooting to end-users for SAP SD and related modules globally.
  • Liaise between end-user community and development team to solve user problems.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of related business processes.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and users to gather business requirements, analyze current processes, and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Create detailed functional specifications for developments.
  • Work closely with the extended ERP team to test and deploy solutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date documentation for all configurations and processes.
  • Develop test scripts, perform rigorous unit testing, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing to ensure solution integrity and quality.
  • Collaborate and share knowledge within the extended ERP team.
  • Adhere to Corporate Global IT compliance practices.

Requirements

• Core Skills:

  • Deep understanding of SAP Sales and Distribution business processes.
  • Proficiency in SAP SD module configuration.
  • Understanding of integration points with other SAP modules (FI, MM, etc.).
  • Experience with end-to-end SAP implementations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience liaising with ABAP/Technical team, translating user requirements into actionable development tasks.
  • Collaboration with Support team members on technical issues.

• Secondary Skills:

  • Experience in a regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, etc.) is strongly desired.

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology).
  • SAP SD or other certification desired.

• Language Skills:

  • English - Advanced (C1), any other language is an advantage.

• Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with SAP SD or related modules.
  • Experience with Service and/or Repairs module is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, etc.).
