About the Position

We are seeking a SAP Specialist (Business Data Cloud) to modernize legacy SAP BW/4HANA systems to SAP Datasphere for our pharmaceutical client.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical strategy and operational framework for the Business Data Cloud (BDC) ecosystem.
Drive modernization of legacy SAP BW/4HANA systems to SAP Datasphere.
Act as a bridge between platform engineering, regulatory compliance, and business data productization.
Collaborate with Data Engineering, Business, and Security teams to enforce global platform governance standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related technical field.
5+ years of experience in data architecture or platform engineering.
Proven track record migrating legacy SAP systems to cloud-native platforms like SAP Datasphere.
Deep technical understanding of SAP BDC Datasphere architecture, administration, and data modeling.
Strong proficiency in SQL for query optimization.
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) and network/security protocols, ensuring TLS 1.2+ encryption.
Experience designing CI/CD pipelines for data products.
Familiarity with Data Mesh concepts and domain-driven design.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English.
