Responsibilities

• Facilitation: Ensure that people (customer stakeholders, Product Owner, Dev Team…) can collaborate in a constructive, positive, and productive manner.
• Guidance: Help the teams in understanding and following the Scrum values.
• Ceremony Management: Make sure Scrum ceremonies are set up and properly followed.
• Obstacle Resolution: Proactively seek out obstacles and help to unblock them by suggesting alternative Agile approaches.
• Continuous Improvement: Guide teams in continuously improving their way of working, using your Agile and Scrum knowledge.
• Adoption of Best Practices: Guide the teams in adopting Agile best practices that best suit their working environment and optimize productivity.
• Training and Coaching: Train and coach our agile teams and customers on their transition towards an Agile mindset – change management plays an important role here.
• Vision Maintenance: Keep our vision alive, and ensure that our teams stay on track and work according to Agile/Scrum methodologies – Foster them to be self-managing and take ownership.

Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience as a Scrum Master. Years of Experience: 5 Years+
• Knowledge: Deep knowledge of Scrum.
• Learning Attitude: Eager to learn, understand, and improve various aspects of product delivery and team dynamics.
• Methodologies: Good knowledge of other methodologies like Kanban, scaled agile frameworks like SAFe and/or LeSS, etc.
• Communication Skills: Good communicator that is able to motivate and inspire peers.
• Feedback: Ability to provide and/or facilitate all kinds of needed feedback, good and bad.
• Languages: Professional communication skills in English, and Dutch or French.
• Relationship Building: Ability to connect with people and build a trust relationship with them.
• Decision-Making: Ability to enable the team to make its own decisions and break any stalemates.

Nice to Have

• Experience with other Agile frameworks and methodologies.
