Scrum Master

About the Position

We are seeking a Scrum Master to lead the implementation of agile practices for one of our major clients. We are looking for professionals with facilitation skills, effective communication, and a results-oriented approach, committed to developing high-performance teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
• Remove impediments that affect the team's workflow, ensuring productivity.
• Act as a mentor and coach for the team in the adoption of agile practices.
• Promote effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
• Assist the Product Owner in maintaining a prioritized backlog aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor and report performance metrics, such as team velocity and sprint progress.
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement, driving initiatives to optimize processes.

Requirements

• Education: Degree in Engineering, Administration, Psychology, or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Scrum Master or in related roles in agile teams.
• Key Knowledge:
  • Proficiency in Scrum and other agile frameworks such as Kanban or SAFe.
  • Experience working with agile management tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
  • Skills in managing cross-functional teams and fostering self-management.
  • Knowledge of agile metrics and facilitation techniques.
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Desirable Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalents (not mandatory).
