About the Position
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Scrum Master to join our team in the Financial Crime Prevention department at Tieto Banktech. Tieto Banktech powers some of the Nordics’ most trusted banking systems with secure, reliable, and scalable solutions. Using automation, data, AI, and cloud, supported by hands-on guidance, we help banks modernize their core, strengthen trust, and deliver greater impact across the banking experience. We are working in SAFe (Scaled Agile Frameworks).
Responsibilities
- Act as a servant-leader and coach for one to two Agile teams, guiding them to improve Agile maturity and delivery outcomes.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and the Program Increment (PI) plannings.
- Help teams follow SAFe practices, and organize work according to them (company is working according to SAFe).
- Remove impediments, address risks, and foster an environment of collaboration, continuous improvement, and self-organization.
- Promote Agile values and a culture of transparency, accountability, and quality.
- Support and mentor team members and Product Owners in Agile principles and best practices.
- Collaborate with Release Train Engineers and other Scrum Masters within the Agile Release Train (ART) to ensure alignment and integration across teams.
- Monitor team performance metrics, and use meaningful data to support continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
- Experience working in scaled Agile frameworks (preferably, SAFe).
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, and lean principles.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with Agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
