About the Position
Secondary School Math Teacher (including IB Diploma Program)
The International School of Krakow is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary School Math Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will facilitate and nurture the development of our learners' academic and personal growth, creativity, critical thinking, and courage. The teacher will support our school's vision, mission, values, and Vision of an ISK Graduate and Shared Understanding of High-Quality Learning.
Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE:
- Facilitate and nurture the development of learners' academic and personal growth, creativity, critical thinking, and courage.
- Support the school's vision, mission, values, and Vision of an ISK Graduate and Shared Understanding of High-Quality Learning.
- Provide an instructional program for learners and assist in other school programs as required.

DUTY OF CARE:
- Provide ongoing qualified support of the health, safety, and well-being of students.
- Create an environment where people feel safe to bring up questions and concerns without fear.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, student-centered instruction that meets the needs of diverse learners.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress using a variety of assessment methods.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership on curriculum planning and program implementation.
- Build strong partnerships with parents and maintain open communication with students, families, and school staff.
- Actively contribute to the school community through participation in school events and initiatives.
Requirements

Educational Background:
- Degree in Education and/or area of instruction from an accredited institution. Bachelor’s Degree minimum, Master's Degree preferred.

Experience:
- At least 2 years of successful teaching experience in a PreK - 12 school setting, international school experience preferred.

Certifications:
- Valid teacher certification from the country of training.

Language Proficiency:
- English Language Proficiency.

Curriculum Knowledge:
- Knowledge and experience in American/International curriculums. Experience and commitment to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) for secondary positions.
Nice to Have
- Experience and commitment to literacy instruction using the Readers/Writers Workshop model for elementary positions.
- Experience and commitment to the Reggio Emilia Approach for Early Years positions.

Salary
- Gross Monthly Salary: 8,467.01 – 9,678.55 PLN
- Employment Type: Contract of employment
- Location: Świętego Floriana 57, Kraków
