About this Role

As a Security Engineer at CloudWalk, you will:

• Investigate security events, incidents, and unusual activity.
• Analyze logs from applications, infrastructure, endpoints, and cloud services.
• Build and improve detections, alerts, security controls, and internal processes.
• Work across Security teams on current risks and priorities.
• Identify gaps and opportunities to improve tools, controls, and ways of working across Security teams, then help turn them into practical solutions.
• Continuously improve how the team uses AI and turn effective approaches into reusable tools and workflows.
• Document findings and communicate risks clearly.

What You Need To Succeed

• Familiarity with GCP / cloud security telemetry and IAM.
• Experience with SIEM / detection-as-code (e.g. Chronicle, Splunk, or similar).
• Fintech / payments security context (PCI DSS, Pix, acquiring).
• Building internal security tooling or LLM-assisted triage workflows.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience in Security Operations, Detection Engineering, Incident Response, or Security Engineering.
• Comfort analyzing logs across applications, infrastructure, endpoints, and cloud (you go to the source, not only dashboards).
• Experience building or improving detections, alerts, and security controls.
• Scripting skills to automate investigations and workflows (TypeScript, Python, or similar).
• Clear written communication of findings and risk to technical and non-technical partners.
• Advanced English for day-to-day work with a global team.
