About the Position

Security Engineer – Microsoft Defender & Sentinel (m/w/d)

synalis GmbH & Co. KG is looking for a passionate Security Engineer to join our Security-Team in Bonn. If you are excited about Microsoft technologies and Cyber Security, you will advise our clients on the development of modern security strategies and support them in the implementation of cutting-edge security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve modern security solutions based on Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Sentinel, and Zscaler
• Analyze, identify, and assess IT security risks
• Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies and protective measures
• Advise and support our clients on technical and strategic issues related to information security and cyber security

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Security, or a comparable field, or a comparable technical education
• Practical experience in Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel
• Knowledge of Microsoft Intune is desirable
• Strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset
• Structured and independent working style
• High team and communication skills
