About the Position
Security Engineer
We are reinforcing our team with a Security Engineer to join a hybrid project in Lisbon.
If you have experience in information security, web application security, penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and cloud knowledge, this could be the right opportunity for your next challenge.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement security measures for web applications
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability scanning
- Respond to security incidents
- Develop secure code following OWASP Top 10 and secure coding principles
- Utilize security tools in DevOps environments (e.g., GitLab, SonarQube, Snyk)
- Manage cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Develop in Java or JavaScript
- Work autonomously in Agile environments with international teams
- Fluency in English
- Basic knowledge of French (valued)
Requirements
- Degree or Master's in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar
- 4+ years of experience as a Security Engineer, preferably in digital or e-commerce environments
- Solid knowledge of information security and web application security
- Experience with vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and incident response
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding principles
- Experience with security tools in DevOps environments (e.g., GitLab, SonarQube, Snyk)
- Cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with a focus on security
- Development experience in Java or JavaScript
- Ability to work autonomously in Agile environments with international teams
- Fluency in English
- Basic knowledge of French (valued)
