Responsibilities

Assist with vulnerability management activities, including reviewing scan results and helping validate findings
Support triage of security findings from internal tools and external sources
Help analyze logs and alerts from SIEM systems to identify potential security issues
Participate in basic security incident investigations and documentation
Assist in implementing and improving security controls across AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure
Support efforts to improve detection capabilities and monitoring coverage
Learn and contribute to securing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure workflows
Work with engineering teams to understand and help address security issues

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, or a related field
Basic understanding of computer systems, networking, and security fundamentals
Familiarity with Linux and command-line tools
Interest in cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and infrastructure systems
Basic knowledge of common security concepts (e.g., vulnerabilities, authentication, OWASP Top 10)
Exposure to programming or scripting (Python, Go, or Bash)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Eagerness to learn and take ownership of tasks
Demonstrated experience working with large language model tools is required; candidates must be comfortable leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with containers (Docker) and basic Kubernetes concepts
Exposure to logging, monitoring, or SIEM tools
Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Interest in areas like cloud security, infrastructure security, or detection engineering
