About the Position

Security Testing & Validation Analyst, Ransomware Protection

We are looking for a Security Testing & Validation Analyst to join our Cybersecurity team and participate in the evaluation and validation of ransomware protection solutions in Windows and Linux environments.

The position will focus on executing technical tests, analyzing results, and validating security technologies to ensure they meet the organization's protection standards and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute validation tests on security tools and controls.
• Evaluate ransomware protection solutions through proof of concepts (PoC) and pilots.
• Analyze the effectiveness of detection, prevention, and incident recovery tools.
• Document results, findings, and technical recommendations.
• Collaborate with security teams to improve the resilience and protection of corporate environments.
• Participate in initiatives related to platform security, data protection, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity controls.

Requirements

• Experience in Security Testing or validation of security controls.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux Server administration.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, threat detection, and ransomware protection.
• Ability to analyze technical results and transform them into clear reports.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Nice to Have

• Experience with proof of concepts (PoC) and technical validation of security tools.
• Knowledge of Incident Response.
• Knowledge of Risk Assessment.
• Knowledge of Security Solution Development.
• Interest in data protection technologies, cloud security, and security operations.
