About the Position

Senior Accessibility FE Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Accessibility FE Engineer with over 6 years of experience to join our innovative AI company based in Ukraine, working remotely. Our mission is to help everyone unlock their superhuman potential by developing apps and agents that are accessible and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Partner with accessibility leads to audit and harden our core features, ensuring they meet our commitments and hold up to real-world assistive technology use.
• Migrate existing UI to our in-house accessible component library, reducing bespoke implementations and raising the baseline quality across the product.
• Shape the accessibility roadmap with a scalable strategy that keeps the bar high as the product grows - covering both new feature development and the ongoing health of existing ones.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Strong web front-end development experience, with TypeScript preferred.
• Ownership mindset - you care about outcomes and user impact, not just closing tickets.
• Ability to operate autonomously - taking end-to-end ownership of problems and driving them to resolution without waiting to be directed.
• Solid understanding of web accessibility principles (WCAG, ARIA) and what they mean in practice.
• Comfortable using modern LLM-powered tooling to accelerate onboarding and day-to-day development.
• Hands-on experience shipping accessible product features at scale is a plus.
• Upper Intermediate level of English, both written and spoken.

Technical Stack

• TypeScript, Node.js, React + Slate.js on the client.
• GRPC microservice backend (doc-server, calc-server, db-backed-table server) with PostgreSQL and Valkey.
• Real-time collaboration via a server-authoritative operational-transform (ops) protocol over Socket.IO.
• Mocha for unit/integration tests, Playwright (with CDP instrumentation) for the web integration/perf harnesses.
• Bazel builds and GitHub Actions CI.
• VictoriaMetrics/Tempo + Grafana and femetrics for observability.
