Senior Account Manager (Pharma/MarTech domain)

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with customer decision-makers and stakeholders across regions.
  • Act as a strategic partner, providing expert advice on Viseven's full portfolio and recommending solutions that address customer needs.
  • Develop and execute mid- and long-term account strategies, including growth, upselling, and expansion opportunities.
  • Manage account profitability, annual and quarterly budget planning, and financial performance.
  • Oversee initiatives and projects across the portfolio, ensuring activities remain on track and stakeholders stay aligned.
  • Coordinate communication between customers, regional teams, and internal Viseven functions.
  • Monitor solution and service adoption, proactively address blockers, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through regular engagement, timely issue resolution, and effective expectation management.
  • Lead customer meetings, present Viseven solutions, and translate high-level requirements into actionable plans.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Delivery teams to identify new opportunities and ensure successful onboarding and execution.
  • Proactively grow the network within the region for existing and new accounts to ensure Viseven visibility within identified organizations.
  • Hands-on coordination, management, and execution of digital projects and solutions for the client, with background support from the technical team.
  • Sustain existing and develop new opportunities within accounts, including expansion into new divisions and clusters, to increase Viseven revenue.
  • Devise a scalable onboarding process for strategic accounts, communicating with decision-makers and stakeholders on the customer side.
  • Conduct sales research and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Create and implement workflow and process improvements to enhance current operational processes.
  • Document processes and maintain sales department records.
  • Own the full sales cycle within the assigned territory: proactively hunt and qualify new business opportunities, and lead them through to closing, alongside developing and growing existing accounts.

Requirements

  • Languages: Native/fluent in Japanese and English
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Account Management / Customer Success / Sales in a B2B environment (SaaS, MarTech, or enterprise software preferred).
  • Skills:
    • Proven experience managing enterprise client portfolios with account budget planning and P&L management.
    • Strong client engagement skills with the ability to work at both strategic and operational levels.
    • Project and account management capabilities, with a focus on driving outcomes and coordinating across multiple teams.
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
    • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and digital transformation trends is a plus.
    • Experience working with the Japanese market is required.
    • Comfort with data and KPIs, with the ability to analyze trends and identify areas for improvement.
    • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce or equivalent) and forecasting tools.
