Responsibilities
Financial Close and Reporting
- Own and execute month-end and year-end close activities across multiple legal entities.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations.
- Maintain an accurate and complete general ledger.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and statutory reporting.
- Ensure reporting deadlines are consistently met without compromising quality.
Accounting Excellence
- Review balance sheet and P&L accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate variances and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Maintain strong accounting controls and compliance with internal policies.
- Support the implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and reporting requirements.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to simplify and improve close-related processes.
- Drive standardization across accounting activities and legal entities.
- Partner with stakeholders to improve data quality and financial workflows.
- Support automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Revenue, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Tax, and other Finance teams.
- Support external auditors by preparing schedules, documentation, and explanations.
- Communicate accounting matters clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Help build reliable financial information that supports business decision-making.
Requirements
Must-have
- 4–5+ years of experience in General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, or audit.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and core accounting principles.
- Hands-on experience managing month-end close and account reconciliations.
- Experience working with multiple legal entities or complex accounting structures.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with accounting systems or ERPs.
- Strong analytical thinking with exceptional attention to detail.
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
Nice to Have

- Experience improving accounting processes or driving automation initiatives.
- Exposure to statutory reporting and external audits.
- Professional accounting certification or ongoing qualification.
