Senior Accountant

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with 4-7+ years of experience to join our team in Pasadena, CA. This role is responsible for overseeing complex accounting activities and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review complex journal entries and account reconciliations
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements and supporting schedules
• Analyze variances and provide explanations to management
• Support internal and external audits; act as primary audit contact for assigned areas
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls
• Assist with system implementations and process improvements
• Mentor and review work of junior accounting staff as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA-eligible preferred)
• 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems required
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

We Offer

• Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00
• Location: Pasadena, CA
