Responsibilities

• Ensuring the maintenance of accounting records (Ukrainian Accounting Regulations and Standards/IFRS) and tax accounting
• Accounting for key areas, including bank transactions, inventories, accounts receivable and accounts payable, prepaid expenses, accruals, and VAT accounting
• Monitoring accounts receivable and accounts payable, as well as intercompany transactions
• Participating in the month-end close process, reconciling balances, and preparing data for tax, financial, and management reporting
• Participating in internal and external audits and supporting their completion
• Participating in the preparation of accounting policies and technical memoranda
• Analyzing the financial aspects of contracts with counterparties
• Automating accounting processes
• Participating in the transition to a new ERP system

Challenges for Three Months

• Participating in the legal entity setup from an accounting perspective
• Becoming familiar with the accounting processes and preparing the accounting policy for approval (as well as accounting regulations, if required)
• Ensuring high-quality accounting for key areas and the timely period close in accordance with the Group’s requirements
• Preparing the financial reporting package and the corporate income tax return for Q3 2026

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in accounting
• Knowledge of Ukrainian Accounting Regulations and Standards, IFRS, and tax legislation
• Experience in working with source documents, individual entrepreneurs, contracts, acts, banking transactions, and reconciliations
• Understanding of the month-end close process, balance reconciliation, and the management of accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and working with large datasets
