cbs Corporate Business Solutions GmbH, a leading company in SAP and process optimization, is seeking a Senior Accountant for our Finance & Controlling Team in Heidelberg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Join our Accounting Team and be part of a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Self-reliant creation of financial statements for one or more companies of the cbs Group in the Asia region
• Support in the preparation of consolidated reports and balance sheet analyses
• Responsibility for the general ledger including account reconciliations
• Ensuring the proper recording of all business transactions
• Point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and internal departments
• Assistance in the optimization and standardization of financial processes
• Participation in projects in the Finance and Accounting area
• Monitoring compliance with legal and internal compliance requirements

Requirements

• Completed business administration studies with a focus on Accounting or a degree as a Certified Public Accountant
• Several years of professional experience (minimum 3 years) in Accounting – ideally in an international environment
• Solid knowledge in financial statement preparation and balance sheet creation according to HGB
• Very good SAP FI/CO skills and proficient use of MS Excel
• Very good German and good English skills
• Initial experience with projects
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Enjoyment of professional exchange and cross-departmental collaboration
• High degree of initiative, decision-making ability, and willingness to shape
