Responsibilities

The role of an Insurance Expert at Alan is to:

• Design and price insurance offers
• Monitor the business and the risks
• Help the rest of the team understand the subtleties of healthcare and insurance

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the insurance sector, with meaningful exposure to health insurance products (hospitalisation, group insurance, disability or dental)
• Fluent in English and Dutch (French is a plus)
• Scientific background (actuarial sciences, statistics, mathematics or data science) with practical experience in insurance (product, pricing, regulatory or analytics)
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Builder mindset
• Willing to deeply change the insurance and healthcare industry
• Clear, structured and to-the-point communication skills (written and spoken)
