Our AI Development department serves as a facilitator for Data & AI transformation. We are taking a holistic approach, from the initial evaluation of AI maturity, through the design and development of data and AI solutions, to the practical implementation and scaling of AI solutions. Through our deep expertise in Data Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, we ensure that our clients gain the maximum value from their data.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex Generative AI and NLP AgenticAI solutions at scale for customer projects
- Engage with various stakeholders and customer representatives to ensure close collaboration and alignment
- Act as a developer, expert, or technical lead on diverse use cases, such as knowledge management with retrieval-augmented chatbots, implementing agent systems, or fine-tuning language models
- Guide and mentor less experienced team members
- Plan and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance ML pipelines following the latest ML Ops and LLM-Ops best practices
- Support the development of products, contribute to expanding our service portfolio, and assist in creating marketing content
- Present solution proposals and handle technical communication with customer representatives during the acquisition process
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in the field of NLP and AI
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge and at least 5 years of experience in Machine Learning & Deep Learning, especially with respect to Transformers, LLMs, and generative AI
- Experience with common tools and methods for handling NLP use-cases such as LLM APIs, Frameworks, vector databases, model deployment, inference servers, and dataset creation
- Experience with agent frameworks such as Langgraph, SmolAgents, OpenAI Agent SDK, CrewAI, PydanticAI, and knowledge of typical LLM-based workflows
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art approaches such as agentic RAG, graphRAG, multi-agent workflows, text-to-2SQL, and code retrieval
- Knowledge of PEFT, IFT, inference time tuning, post-training, embeddings, and foundational knowledge of frameworks such as PyTorch
- Ability to write clean, performant, and extensible code and successfully bring AI systems into production
- Experience with cloud-based deployments and MLOps workflows on platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS
- Strong communication skills with very good German (at least B2) and excellent English (C1 or higher)
- Reliability, thoroughness, and a structured approach to work
- Willingness to occasionally travel to visit customers on site in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
