Job Description
Doctolib is looking for a Senior AI Specialist (x/f/m) for our Berlin location.
Doctolib is becoming an AI-native company. We are redesigning our workflows one by one – and we are looking for people who not only support this transformation but actively build it. As a Senior AI Specialist, you are the technical implementation force and AI-Ops Owner behind the AI-supported productivity of our Operations and Customer Success teams.
You will work in Founder- and Product-Mode: You own an end-to-end workflow – from context to agent design to evaluation – and step by step elevate it to a higher level of automation. Our goal: away from manual individual work, towards workflows that largely run autonomously while maintaining the quality bar. This way, you directly contribute to our mission of improving healthcare for everyone.
Responsibilities
- Workflow Redesign instead of pure Automation: You analyze the most critical Operations and Customer Success workflows, break down time-consuming processes with low judgment requirements, and transform them through the use of AI agents. You set clear goals for autonomy and quality and continuously develop them.
- Building & Operating AI Agents as Products: You develop and manage agents on platforms like Dust or Claude. Each agent is set up with a fixed baseline and relevant metrics such as benefit, usage, and scalability.
- Knowledge & Context Management: You curate the context that agents need – from templates to core data. Quality over quantity applies here. You ensure that knowledge sources in Confluence, Drive, or Salesforce are always up-to-date and well-structured.
- Evaluation & Quality Assurance: You define quality standards and establish evaluation routines to address weaknesses such as hallucinations or prompt drift early on. Through systematic user feedback and A/B testing, you continuously optimize the prompts.
- CRM & Data Integration: You are responsible for the interfaces between CRM systems like Salesforce and our AI platforms. You automate data flows and work closely with IT to unlock new, valuable data sources for the agents.
- Central Interface & Enablement: You translate business requirements into technical solutions and bring together stakeholders from leadership, IT, and product. You increase AI fluency in the team in the areas of context, agent management, and evaluation.
- Impact & Measurement: Instead of inventing new KPIs, you make the success of AI measurable using existing metrics such as time, quality, and costs, and thus steer the next scaling steps.
Requirements
- Learning Speed & Production Thinking: You have worked yourself into a new technical field from scratch and built something real that people have actually used. You can precisely describe what went wrong (hallucinations, prompt drift, outdated data, costs) and how you solved it.
- Evaluation Instinct: You don't rely on "looks good," but define a quality bar and measure against it – automation and quality belong together for you.
- Ownership & Communication: You take on a problem end-to-end, prioritize hard, feel comfortable in ambiguity, and make technical issues understandable for non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical & Data Understanding: You read and adapt scripts, understand APIs, webhooks, and automation tools (Make, n8n, Zapier), and know how CRM data (ideally Salesforce) flows into AI systems.
- Communication Skills: Fluent English skills to operate at the highest level in our international environment. German at B1 level is sufficient.
Nice to Have
- Agent Platform Expertise: You have practical experience with systems like Dust, Claude, or LangChain. As tools change rapidly, we primarily rely on your process understanding and evaluation skills as a sustainable foundation.
- Technical Depth & Data Sovereignty: You are proficient in languages like Python or JavaScript and navigate confidently through Salesforce architectures or BI landscapes like Tableau and Metabase to effectively manage data flows.
- Operations Context: You bring solid experience in working with scaled Customer Success or Operations teams and understand their specific dynamics.
