Senior Analyst, FinTech Commercial

About the Position

We are looking for a talented, results-oriented Payments Operations Analyst to join the Agoda finance team. You will:

• Analyze payment partner commercials
• Validate strategic deals and own invoice reconciliation
• Run financial analysis and data-driven insights
• Drive business case development for new fintech initiatives

This is an ideal role for someone with 2–4 years’ experience in Finance, Fintech/Tech, or Consulting industries, who wants exposure to payments partner management at scale.

Responsibilities

Commercial Operations & Controls

• Perform monthly reconciliation of fintech partner commercials (PSPs, Payment schemes, etc.) on a timely basis
• Validate partner invoices against contractual terms and transaction-level data
• Ensure reconciliation data pipelines remain accurate and complete by coordinating with BI and external partners
• Be the trusted owner of reconciliation controls, maintaining clear documentation and partnering with stakeholders to ensure smooth audit walkthroughs each cycle
• Maintain documentation trails and process controls in accordance with Finance governance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in: Consulting (Big4 preferred), Corporate Finance, Fintech / Payments, Commercial Finance or Deal Analytics
• Advanced Excel skills: financial modeling proficiency required
• Analytical mindset with strong quantitative skills
• Detail-oriented with strong internal control awareness
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Nice to Have

• Experience in payment ecosystem (PSPs, Payment schemes, etc.)
• Exposure to SQL or data querying tools
• Experience building structured business cases for senior stakeholders
• Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of OTA business models (Merchant, Agency, Commission-based etc.)
