Senior Android Developer

About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our team at Mobile OneApp @ ING Hubs Romania in Bucharest, Romania. This role is focused on mobile app development and requires at least 5 years of experience in Android development using Kotlin.

Responsibilities

• Be a key member of the team working on mobile components.
• Represent the mobile chapter to counterparties from the ING Group.
• Participate in the integration and deployment of modules in different countries.
• Set up and design various forms of UI and unit tests.
• Present to other members of the mobile community, both in Romania and abroad.
• Interact with various leadership levels of the organization.
• Work closely with other members of the chapter to ensure best practices are used in the implementation of the product at all stages.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience as an Android Developer.
• Tech stack/knowledge:
  • Mandatory:
    • Android development using Kotlin
    • Hands-on experience with highly customized UI design
    • Hands-on experience with CI (knowledge of industry-standard tools like Gradle, Azure, etc.)
    • Hands-on experience with test-driven development, test automation, and UI Test Automation (Espresso)
    • Hands-on experience in modular architecture
  • Nice to have:
    • Agile methodology
• Languages: English (advanced)
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in an IT-related field is nice to have.
