Senior Android Developer

About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join the development team of a large international wellness company whose products are used across the USA, Europe, and Asia.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Develop functionality and continuously improve existing applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
• Integrate applications with external data sources and APIs
• Write unit tests covering edge cases, usability, and application reliability
• Investigate bugs and improve application performance
• Evaluate and implement technologies that improve development efficiency

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin
• Deep understanding of the Android ecosystem
• Solid experience with Android application architecture and MVVM
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Strong understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle
• Knowledge of modern mobile architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Experience with unit testing and application reliability
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science
• Upper-Intermediate English and higher

Nice to Have

• Experience with Koin, Coil, Retrofit, Room, or similar libraries
• Experience with Coroutines
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and Robolectric
• Experience with Single Activity applications
