We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join us as part of our team.

About the Role

HaulHub Technologies is at the forefront of transforming public works and transportation construction through its digital platform, EDOT. Initially launched as a DOT e-Ticketing solution, EDOT has evolved into a comprehensive suite that enhances project oversight, safety, compliance, and sustainability. Stage of Development: in an active development phase.

20 team-members. Ukraine, Europe.

Work Environment

Full-time position, other mobile developers in a +1 (CET) or +2 (EET) time zone. Client – 7 (EDT) Daily stand-up meetings to ensure smooth collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new features to enhance functionality.
• Conduct code reviews and perform refactoring to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Communicate effectively with the team to align on requirements and deliverables.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components (e.g., LiveData, ViewModel, Room), Material Design, and MVVM/MVP architecture patterns.
• Proficiency in GIT (experience with GitHub, GitLab, or BitBucket).
• Experience working with REST APIs, GraphQL, and databases such as SQLite, Room, or Firebase Realtime Database.
• Ability to optimize app performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency.
• English Level: Upper-intermediate (B2+) or higher.

Nice to Have

• Experience in developing and implementing new features.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team.
