About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Android Engineer to lead our Android team in Ho Chi Minh City, building scalable and tailored solutions for our customers. You will become part of a continuously transforming environment that influences the banking experience of millions of users around the world.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for our Android efforts.
- Seamlessly integrate the Backbase platform into our customers’ systems.
- Build apps mainly using native technology.
- Build beautiful code, run tests, and coach a team of developers.
- Provide support through solicited and unsolicited advice, mentoring, audits, and training.
- Meet and exceed customer desires, leaving behind an impeccable impression.
Requirements
- Developed at least three apps, of which at least one is available via Google Play.
- Excellent in reading code to analyze quickly.
- A mentor who enjoys helping other developers grow.
- Proficient in Kotlin and Java.
- Strong understanding of mobile development for Android.
- Ability to deliver speedy and cost-efficient solutions.
- A 'getting things done' mentality.
- Eager to learn and deliver outstanding presentations.
- Ability to share knowledge and clearly explain concepts while giving training and running workshops.
