About the Position
Wargaming is looking for a talented Senior Animator to join the World of Tanks Modern Armor team. In this role you will take ownership of creating and implementing high-quality character animations, working across the full animation pipeline from rigging and mocap data to in-engine integration.
Responsibilities
- Create character animations for the game
- Work with Mocap data
- Rig characters and props
- Integrate your work into the game engine
- Work with Art Director, Producer, Animators to achieve the best results
- Be proactive, participate in team discussions, evaluate your work
Requirements
- Proven keyframe animation experience in the gaming industry
- Portfolio of your work displaying your abilities as an animator
- Basic skills in character rigging
- Knowledge of principles of animations (timing, spacing, staging etc.) and good understanding in how to use it with stylized or realistic animations
- Good motivation, being a team player and having a problem solving mindset
Nice to Have
- Ability to collaborate with outsourcing partners, review animation quality, and provide clear feedback
- Genuine passion for animation and bringing characters to life
- Strong motivation, curiosity, and willingness to continue growing as an animator
Work Mode
- Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office)
- This role isn't eligible for relocation & immigration support
Salary
The salary range for this role in Vilnius is EUR 3000-5500 monthly gross.
