About the Position
Genesis Systems, Inc. and related entities are a business group that provides Information Technology Services (software development, support, hosting, etc.), CPA services, and other diverse activities. Operating nationally and internationally, the group has been in existence for over 38 years and continues to expand its operations.
We are currently seeking a Senior Application Developer/Engineer to join our team in the United States. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server, and will be responsible for identifying business requirements, determining specifications, and modifying and expanding systems through analysis and development.
Responsibilities
- Help to identify business requirements and determine specifications
- Modify and expand systems through analysis and development
- Initial programming, bug fixes, and development of functionalities for large-sized, mission-critical systems
- Work with other team members to determine the best way to develop system functionalities
Requirements
- Core Skills:
- Experience with C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server
- Secondary Skills:
- WCF, ENTITY FRAMEWORK, LINQ, HTML/CSS, AJAX, XML, OBJECT ORIENTED PROGRAMMING, JAVASCRIPT, JQUERY, JSON, ORACLE, TEAM FOUNDATION SERVER (TFS) DEVOPS, ACTIVE REPORTS, NoSQL Database (CouchDB), EXT JS
- Understanding and knowledge of enterprise networking, distributed systems technologies/methodologies, and leading technologies
- Experience in the latest networking and communications technologies is a plus
- Project Management and supervisory experience is a plus
- Quality-oriented, well-organized, self-starter with strong managerial and technical writing skills
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision while maintaining a strong sense of team collaboration
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple concurrent projects
- Willingness to travel as required by projects
- Ability to work with resources across multiple time zones
- Must have a current valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check and drug test
