Senior Applied AI Solutions Architect (Amazon Connect)

About the Position

We're seeking a Senior Applied AI Solutions Architect (Amazon Connect) to join our team in New York, NY. This role focuses on hands-on architecture and delivery of AI-first solutions and live demos using Amazon Connect AI agents.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver AI-first solutions on Amazon Connect, including working systems, reusable reference architectures, and internal assets to accelerate applied AI adoption.
• Build and maintain production-quality live demo environments that help sales teams, customers, and partners use Amazon Connect AI agents.
• Work full-stack across user experience, integrations, and data, including agent prompt tuning, memory/context, tools, MCP/A2A orchestration, and RAG.
• Develop front-end experiences and back-end services; write REST APIs and web services.
• Configure Amazon Connect AI agents end to end: prompts, guardrails, LLM evaluation/tuning, and memory/context management.
• Build tool and multi-agent orchestration using MCP servers and A2A patterns.
• Create secure integrations and data foundations for agent tool use and RAG (knowledge bases, structured datasets).
• Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework for security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization, and sustainability.
• Validate agent performance against defined success criteria; ensure solutions/demos are reliable and repeatable.
• Create reusable artifacts (reference architectures, playbooks, sample code, prompt libraries, data readiness checklists).
• Collaborate with product teams (Amazon Connect and Amazon Bedrock) and share learnings for roadmap prioritization.

Requirements

• 7+ years of specific technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years designing/implementing/consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 3+ years hands-on coding with REST APIs and web services, including integrating agentic or generative AI.
• Full-stack development experience across front-end and back-end.
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred) across compute, database, integration, identity, networking, and automated packaging/deployment.
• Hands-on LLM experience including prompt engineering, agent memory/context management, RAG, and model evaluation.
• Familiarity with MCP and A2A interoperability protocols.
