About the Position

Senior AQA Engineer

We are seeking a Senior AQA Engineer with 6-8 years of experience in testing iOS and Android apps to join our team in Europe, Bulgaria, Georgia, Turkey, or remotely.

Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

• Responsible to execute automated functional, Blackbox, Whitebox, performance, and security testing for websites and mobile applications.

Design Assurance Requirements:

• Devise test scenarios and document the test cases in a test management tool (e.g., TFS)
• Identify, prioritize, and execute test cases in the various stages of the software development life cycle
• Implement and execute quality assurance best practices and processes

Product Testing:

• Set up and conduct thorough product testing with high-quality standards
• Create and modify test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements or existing functionality of the systems
• Evaluate and test new or modified software to determine that software meets user requirements, documented business needs, and established quality standards
• Apply various testing types and methodologies effectively during SDLC
• Execute the test cases and log the test results
• Participate in agile estimation, taking into consideration project and process requirements during the development lifecycle

Project Management:

• Ensure all business requirements and objectives relative to the designed functionality of the products and applications
• Ensure document control on all project documents
• Prepare regular and any ad hoc QA/QC reports (as needed)

Quality Enhancements:

• Identifies new ideas, tools, and process improvements to help the team meet objectives
• Provides technical leadership and positive influences for the team

Stakeholder Management:

• Provide team collaboration for test plans and defining test cases
• Proactively works with other teams to resolve issues and meet project goals

Continuous Learning:

• Ensure up to date on newer products and applications (e.g., Selenium and JMeter)
• Continually enhance technical skills and project-related decisions

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Experience:

• 6-8 years of professional quality assurance experience

Job-Specific Skills:

• Extensive experience with agile methodologies
• Extensive experience testing iOS and Android apps
• Excellent experience working with quality assurance teams, problem-solving, and high-level verbal and written communication skills
• MS-SQL is a requirement
• MS.NET programming experience is an asset
• Selenium and Appium experience is a plus
