Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the development, implementation, and ongoing management of quantitative models for the QIS business.
- Design and develop robust quantitative tools and automated workflows to optimize daily index operations.
- Act as a key contact for institutional clients, including investment banks, hedge funds, and asset managers, addressing complex technical and operational matters.
- Lead quantitative infrastructure projects end to end, from architecture design and solution development to deployment and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience developing production-ready applications.
- Sound knowledge of software development principles, version control, and collaborative development practices.
- Good understanding of database architecture, data flows, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, particularly derivatives and quantitative investment strategies.
- Experience with market data platforms such as Bloomberg, LSEG, or FactSet is an advantage.
- Strong ownership skills, with a high degree of responsibility and attention to detail.
- Self-driven and well-organized, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive them forward.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial industry.
