About the Position

ELEKS Customer Support Office is looking for an Atlassian Engineer in Argentina, the USA.

We are helping to achieve our customer’s goals via developing and supporting the IT tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and own the Jira and Confluence migration workstream from design through acceptance
  • Plan and execute migration of approximately 300 Jira projects and 1,700 users across Atlassian environments
  • Manage migration of large-scale Confluence content from Cloud to Data Center environments
  • Assess and resolve plugin compatibility issues across Jira and Confluence versions
  • Migrate workflows, automation rules, custom scripts, and marketplace app configurations
  • Coordinate migration activities, cutover planning, and validation processes
  • Work closely with IAM/Active Directory teams on user provisioning and access management
  • Develop migration runbooks, validation documentation, and cutover logs
  • Collaborate directly with client stakeholders and provide technical guidance throughout the project
  • Identify risks proactively and ensure timely resolution of migration-related issues
  • Support acceptance activities and ensure successful delivery of migration objectives

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an Atlassian Engineer / Jira Administrator
  • Proven hands-on experience with complex Jira cross-instance migrations
  • Strong expertise in Jira Data Center administration and configuration
  • Experience with Confluence migrations, preferably involving large-scale content volumes
  • Solid understanding of Atlassian migration tools (Appfire products or similar solutions)
  • Experience migrating workflows, automation rules, custom scripts, and plugin configurations
  • Knowledge of user provisioning processes and collaboration with IAM or Active Directory teams
  • Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments with formal change management procedures
  • Strong troubleshooting, validation, and migration planning skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently, drive decisions, and manage ambiguity
  • Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English
