At Moore, we work together as companions towards the same goal: from our passion for entrepreneurship, we actively support our clients and colleagues on their path to growth. And we are growing ourselves too. That's why we are looking for a (Senior) Audit Manager for our Brussels office.
Responsibilities

You will determine the audit approach, ensure the finalization of audit assignments, and provide expert advice to your audit partner, including the preparation of the recommendation letter and the commissioner's report. You will monitor the correct execution of the work program, check the analyses and conclusions as documented by the audit team, and actively manage the budget.
- You will check the more complex audit sections of the audit assignment and will be involved in more complex files.
- You will know your clients' businesses inside out and provide them with insight into the reliability of their financial reporting. You will be their audit ‘companion de route’.
- Using some sophisticated tools, you will gather valuable information and quickly detect financial risks.
- You will be familiar with common audit procedures and tools. You will keep your knowledge up-to-date and help develop new methods and technologies.
- Additionally, you will engage in one-off assignments such as statutory assignments assigned to the company auditor as well as due diligence assignments, valuations, subsidy research, certifications, etc.
- You will act as a coach and ensure the ‘supervision of’ and ‘knowledge transfer to’ the senior auditor.
- Preferably, you have already obtained your title of company auditor or are a trainee company auditor.
Requirements
- You have a master's degree in an economic field (Commercial Engineer, Applied Economic Sciences, Commercial Sciences, etc.)
- You have built up at least 5 to 10 years of expertise in Audit.
- You have a great interest and drive to expand and share your knowledge and expertise in Audit. As a file manager, you will take charge of your audit files and lead a team.
- A digital and data-driven mindset suits you and you stimulate this in the team.
- Your clients are Dutch-speaking, so you speak and write excellent Dutch. Knowledge of English and French is a plus.
