Senior Automation Engineer (f/m/x)

Responsibilities

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will:

• Take full ownership of automation projects from concept development through planning to commissioning and ongoing customer support.
• Advise clients and develop tailored automation solutions that meet their technical and operations needs.
• Design, implement, qualify, and commission state-of-the-art automation systems.
• Act as a trusted partner for customers and suppliers, ensuring good communication and successful project execution.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in internal project management and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Extensive, hands-on experience with DCS (Emerson DeltaV, Siemens PCS7, Honeywell PKS, CopaData Zenon, or other common automation systems) in the field of process automation.
• Strong understanding of process engineering for the development of functional specifications.
• Completed technical education (technician, engineering degree, university of applied science, or university degree).
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented manner.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on mentality.
• Confident communication skills in French and English. Knowledge of German is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in pharmaceutical environments (CSV, GAMP5 standards).
