About the Position
We are looking for a skilled and driven Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our growing team in Portugal, Spain, or remotely.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks
- Conduct API testing and backend validation
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for test automation
- Build and manage automation testing environments
- Mentor junior QA engineers
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation, SDET, or quality engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks
- Proficiency in Java and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Solid experience with API testing and backend validation
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker and Kubernetes)
- Experience with tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, REST Assured, Postman, Gatling, JMeter, or similar
- Strong understanding of SDLC, test strategies, and quality engineering best practices
- Ability to independently own and deliver test automation for complex systems
- Experience testing distributed systems, cloud-native applications, or data platforms
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Exposure to performance, load, or reliability testing
