Senior Azure Cloud Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to support critical efforts concentrated on Azure Cloud Migration with the help of Cloud Application Templates. The ideal candidate is quality-focused, an excellent communicator, and thrives in both independent and collaborative team environments while staying aware of ongoing technology trends.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Cloud Azure Migration initiatives leveraging Cloud Application Templates
• Design and implement cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated delivery
• Build and orchestrate containerized applications across cloud environments
• Implement infrastructure-as-code practices to provision and manage cloud resources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within an agile delivery model
• Pragmatically leverage emerging technology trends to deliver business value
• Promote DevOps practices and drive automation across the development lifecycle
• Ensure high quality standards throughout the software delivery process

Requirements

• 3+ years of solid background in development using a language such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, or Go
• Expertise in CI/CD including tools such as Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab
• Proficiency in containers and container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or other major cloud platforms
• Skills in infrastructure-as-code, using tools such as Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with scripting languages, including Windows PowerShell and Bash
• Experience with GitHub or similar, contributing to open-source projects
• Understanding of agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban)
• Background in DevOps practices and the value of automation
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills
